Four Square Community Action is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Finance
Lead to become part of our financial team that oversee the fiscal operations of a growing
nonprofit organization serving communities in Western North Carolina and based in
Andrews, NC.
This position plays a critical role in managing federal, state, and private grant funds that
support housing, early childhood education, community development, workforce
initiatives, and family services.
What You'll Do
• Be a leader in Four Square’s financial operations.
• Manage federal and state grant budgets and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and board reports.
• Coordinate annual audits and compliance activities.
• Support strategic planning and funding sustainability.
• Work closely with executive leadership and program directors.

• Strong accounting and financial management skills.
• Experience with federal and state grants.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance.
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations.

Requirements:
✔ Must be at least 18 years of age
✔ Ability to work with children ages 3 to 5 and their families
✔ Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
Upon Employment, Candidates Must:
• Complete a medical examination
• Obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Pass drug testing, fingerprinting, and a criminal background check

Four Square Community Action, Inc., Head Start is currently accepting applications for an Educational Support Specialist at the Murphy/Hayesville Head Start Preschool Center in Murphy/Hayesville, NC. You would be required to work in both centers. Vehicle provided for transportation between the two centers.
Requirements:
✔ Must be at least 18 years of age
✔ Ability to work with children ages 3 to 5 and their families
✔ Prefer an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a background working in early childhood education.
Upon Employment, Candidates Must:
